Sneha was born in New Zealand and attended both the University of Auckland where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and then AUT obtaining her Bachelor of Nursing in 2010. Sneha previously worked at Henderson Medical Centre as a Senior Nurse and then Nurse Manager for 10 years before obtaining her Nurse Practitioner qualification in 2023. Sneha carried out her 12-month Nurse Practitioner internship at Prana Family Health.

Nurse Practitioners must complete an approved Master’s Degree, and are trained to make diagnoses, and order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests. They prescribe medicines within their area of competence with the same authority as medical practitioners. Sneha works closely with her GP colleagues where there is ongoing collaboration and support. Sneha’s passion is primary health care, in particular women’s health, child and youth health, mental health, and sexual health.

In Sneha’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and pet cavoodle named Milo. Her hobbies include attending HIIT classes at her local BFT gym, baking, cooking, travelling, drinking good coffee, and playing board games with friends.
